The Keyboard Warrior

The Keyboard Warrior

So, what really is a Keyboard Warrior?

It’s a person who makes abusive or angry content on Internet while hiding the real identity.

So, you can call me a keyboard warrior but not in real sense because I do vent out my anger and frustration against various things on Facebook but don’t hide my identity.

So, if anyone wants to connect with me over Facebook to get an idea of what I post,

Here’s the link to my profile -> Facebook

Also, I continuously push updates on my Insta profile about the first draft of the story I am working on.

So, if anyone wants to connect over Instagram,

Here’s the link to my profile -> Instagram

Are you a keyboard warrior? I am waiting for your answers.

WhatsApp Update

WhatsApp Update

So, this post is about the new whatsapp update that brought with itself a drastic change.

I am talking about it because literally everyone uses whatsapp to remain connected with others.

The old status option is gone and has made way for the new visual status option. Let me tell you, it’s a blatant rip off of snapchat’s feature.

Gone are days when you would update a status and keep it as long as you wanted to.

The new status option now disappears after 24 hours.

Whatsapp’s USP is that it’s a messenger which focuses on texts but that seems to be changing now with more visual content getting into mix.

For me, this is the most shit update I’ve ever seen for whatsapp.

WhatsApp is meant to be a texting app. So, why are they just making it complicated.

Snapchat had this… Ok

Insta copied it… Fine and I even use it a lot

But why bring this to whatsapp…

What are your views about this new update?

It’s rolled worldwide now to both Android and Ios users.

Insider news – The old status feature may come back as “Tagline” feature in future whatsapp releases.

The Blogger Tag

The Blogger Tag

So, I have been tagged for this by Tanya. I wanted to do this. As for further Nominations, everyone’s invited. I won’t tag specific persons because it’s your decision to whether tell yourself about to your fellow bloggers or not.

Question 1: How tall are you?

I’m somewhere 5’5” and 5’7”. So, you can call me average heighted.

Question 2: Do you have a hidden talent?

If it’s a hidden talent, how would I know because it would be hidden na. Lol. Sorry. Silly answer.

Question 3: What’s your biggest blog-related pet peeve?

Hmm…Let me think. Nope. Nothing as such.

Question 4: What’s your biggest non blog -related pet peeve?

I can literally write a whole thesis on it but let me be very specific about it. I don’t like people who are even a bit rude to anyone. Show off irks me. Showing off is fine if you really have something to show off but if you haven’t really got anything special and you do so, then that makes me angry and have pity on you at the same time. The mantra is really simple to expect a friendly behavior from me.

“Give respect and get respect.”

Question 5: What’s your favorite song?

Keeps changing depending on mood but my all time favourite is “Maahi” from Raaz 2. That song has something special in its tune which pulls me towards it.

Question 6: What’s your favorite social media website?

Facebook and Instagram. Facebook, a bit more because my sarcastic levels are pretty high there.

Question 7: What’s your favorite way to spend your time when you’re alone?

Mostly, I am alone and I don’t mind being so. Sleeping’s my favourite way or if I am feeling enthusiastic, then writing.

Question 8: What’s your favorite junk food?

F**king EVERYTHING but eventually, nothing beats mummy ke hath ka khana (Food made by mum).

Question 9: Do you have a pet or pet(s)? If so, what kind and what are their names?

Unfortunately, I don’t have any pets but I will surely keep two dogs when I start earning.

Question 10: What are your number one favorite non-fiction and fiction books?

Non – fictional got to be “I too had a love story” by Ravinder singh.

Fictional got to be “Harry potter series”. Although, I haven’t read even a single one of them. Haha.

Question 11: What’s your favorite beauty product or tool?

Hair wax and if Perfume comes in the beauty category.

Question 12: When were you last embarrassed? What happened?

Haven’t happened for a while now and I don’t remember about the last time also. Being alone has its own perks.

Either Coca-Cola or Cold Coffee.

Question 16: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

That’s a hypothetical question. Ignored. Haha. No but on a serious note, I haven’t given it a thought.

Question 17: PC or Mac?

PC because I haven’t tried a mac yet.

Question 18: Last romantic gesture from a crush, date, boy/girlfriend, spouse? (Or any kind gesture from a friend)

Can’t remember seriously because such magical things don’t happen with me often. :p

Question 19: Favourite celebrity?

Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma. Forever.

Question 20: What blogger do you secretly want to be best friends with?

    Review of year 2016

    Review of year 2016

So, the year 2016 is coming to an end and this is the first time I am reviewing my whole year.

This year was the most shit one of my life till now.

The lessons I am taking from this year ->

Mantra to live a happy life…

    • No expectations..
    • No attachments..
    • No feelings..

I again went through a period of depression this year and that was the longest time ever.

I got to understand that caste is a bigger thing than love.

I got to understand that you have to live for yourself only.

I got to understand the transformation of a guy who believed in love to a guy who termed them as waste of time.

I got to understand that a relationship is a genuine investment.

I got to understand how it feels when someone gives up on you.

I got to understand that it takes a lot of strength to give up on the pseudo hope and move on.

I got to understand that how once lovers can turn into known strangers.

I got to understand that loving someone truly hurts a lot.

I got to understand that just loving someone isn’t enough to spend your life with them.

I got to understand that sometimes even a girl can easily shy away from returning the commitment.

I got to understand that sometimes even if you give someone your everything, it isn’t enough.

And now ending the post with a quote I wrote…

She gave up on their relationship…

That day, another romeo died and casanova was born…

I got the push to write about it because of a post of Anamika. I was really moved by this post of her – hope. I always wanted to write on this particular topic but your post opened up my clogged mind. Her post has only four lines but even then, the meaning is clear. I have tried to explain it a bit in my own words.

One of the most said sentences in the world “Don’t lose hope.”

I am sure everyone of you would have heard this atleast once in your life.

Well, it does feel great to listen this line from someone but there’s another face to this particular line.

Sometimes, this so called hope binds us to the past. It stops us from moving on. It isn’t weakness to give up hope when you know that holding hope is doing much bad to you rather than doing anything good to you.

Sometimes, the hope has to die to pave way for a new beginning. You have to shed everything from the past to move on and hope is the one thing other than memories that binds us to past. We can make peace with memories but we have to leave this hope. We have to make ourselves understand that clinging on to hope when everything’s crystal clear to us is not at all good.

From my recent personal experience, I know what stopped me moving on. This hope or better called “pseudo-hope” stopped me from looking to the future and moving on in my life. I had to make myself understand that holding on to this hope is pulling me back every time I want to move on.

Believe me, giving up hope sometimes does wonders to you.
