Words Aren’t Enough

”How much do you love me?” she asked

“Really, you are asking this now that we have been in a relationship for 2 years?” I asked countering her question

“Yes, Puneet. Tell me. I really want to hear.” she replied with a certainty in her voice

I stood up and went to the balcony while holding the phone close to my ear.

“Mehak, you are the most beautiful and amazing girl I have ever met. Even though we are far away from each other, your voice makes my heart beat faster. Your voice lights up my mood. Every time my phone vibrates, I hope it to be because of your message. Your voice makes the start and end of my day perfect. You are such an important part of my life that I want to share each and every thing that happens with me. I love the way your eyes flutter. I love to see myself in your hazel brown eyes. My name feels more beautiful when you say it through your small baby pink lips. I love to pull your chubby cheeks as much as I want to kiss them. I love it when you blush because someone takes my name and you start thinking about me. I love the feeling of your hairs in my hand. I love your fragrance so much that I want to be always around you. I love touching your small cute nose. I love to hug you and feel so close to you. I love to sleep with you not for the sake of making love but feeling your soft warm skin against mine. I love our similarities as much as I love our differences. I love when we have a heated argument just because it is followed with lots of love. I love how you selflessly care for me. I don’t want to leave you ever, baby. Believe me baby, without you love is just a word for me.” I replied with tears in my eyes

She sensed it and too had tears in her eyes.

None of us said anything, for our silence said everything.

P.S – It’s one of our conversations. Our family background differs yet we love each other so much and want to marry. We know we don’t have any future together yet we can’t leave each other, for present is much more beautiful. Do pray for US. 🙂
